I LOVE the montage...so cool! I am also quite impressed. Noah stayed up on his feet longer than some big kids do. And even when he fell, he got right back up. Way to go, Noah! You are growing up so quickly... Reba
We all have a chance at redemption...God's perfect love story...a story of adoption and so much more.
Welcome to Milner Milestones
We began this blog to keep family and friends updated on the progress of our adoption. Now after 18 months of no blog activity we have decided to start filling in the gaps. Weather you are visiting our blog for the first time or catching up with the rest of us we want to thank you for taking time to read our story.
We hope that by sharing our journey you will be encouraged to seek God's direction and embark on this incredible adventure called life. An adventure that God has already planned out for you. Every personal or family story is different and each adventure will lead you down your own unique path, but one thing remains the same. We all have an adventure. The only question is...are you sitting this one out?

James & I met at a church youth rally in high school. In the summer of 91 James served as a missionary with CHARM in Charleston SC. We spent the summer writing & became close friends. When he returned we had our first date. Feb of 92 James proposed & Mar 93 we were married. As we celebrate 19 yrs of marriage we count each day as a blessing from the Lord. Almost 16 years ago God blessed us with a beautiful "homemade" daughter. I use to say that she was my greatest joy & biggest challenge all wrapped up in absolute beauty. After 8 yrs of Secondary INF & failed attempts at domestic adoption God opened a new door. In Oct 04 we made a huge leap of faith & began the process of International Adoption. Dec 05 we received our referral of a handsome little Guatemalan boy 23 days old. The day he turned 6mo old we received the call that we could fly to Guatemala & bring home our son. Our lives are full of God's goodness & grace. Our hearts are filled with JOY. We are blessed beyond measure & we seek to glorify God through all that we do. We want to share His goodness in the good times & bad. We believe that our God, the creator of Heaven & Earth is good all the time...all the time he is good!
